Kim N.

Kim N. has been working as a receptionist/assistant in numerous veterinary offices for the past 20 years. She joined our Linden Heights team in 2013. She and her husband, Jimmy have a small hobby farm which includes a cow, a goat, two miniature donkeys, 25 chickens, 7 ducks and 2 turkeys. They share their home with 2 dogs, 9 cats, numerous pet rats and several fish.

Theresa H. has worked at Linden Heights Animal Hospital since 1998 in several different capacities.  She currently maintains our hospital inventory as well as assists the Practice Manager with administrative duties.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, kayaking, scrapbooking and spending time with her three grandchildren.  She lives in Clearbrook with her husband, Willie.

Kristy W. has over five years experience working in a veterinary setting as a receptionist and assistant. She has 4 dogs, 2 pigs, a daughter and two step children. In her free time she enjoys gardening and painting with her daughter.

Aislan B.

Aislan B. has been working in some capacity with small and large animals for years. She says she “loves working with her new Linden Heights family.” As an animal lover, she has filled her life with two amazing dogs, five crazy cats, six sweet rats, and a beautiful beta fish. In her spare time, Aislan enjoys reading, writing, and working with off-track thoroughbred horses.

Nicole R., L.V.T.

Nicole R., L.V.T., has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Linden Heights Animal Hospital since 2009 and is currently the Head Technician. She graduated from the Blue Ridge Community College’s Licensed Veterinary Technician program. Nicole decided to attend tech school after working as an assistant for many years while attending Sherando High School. In her spare time she enjoys hitting the gym and cooking for her husband, Josh. Nicole currently has 5 pets, all of which are rescues; 3 cats, 1 mix breed dog and her pit-bull.

Kellie N., L.V.T., graduated from The State University of New York-Alfred for Veterinary Technology in 2001. She worked as a small animal licensed veterinary technician in New York up until 2008 when her fourth child was born. For the next 11 years she raised her four children and worked in the dairy industry. She recently moved to Virginia when her oldest child started at Virginia Tech in the Dairy Science program. She and her family keep busy during the summer showing livestock and hanging out with their blue heeler, “Angus.”

She moved to Virginia from northeastern Pennsylvania in July 2017 at which time she joined the Linden Heights Animal Hospital team. In her spare time she enjoys 3D archery competition and spending time outdoors hiking, hunting, and fishing. Her fur-kids consist of 4 dogs, 3 cats and 2 hedgehogs.

Heather N.

Heather N. has been an animal lover her entire life. It was when she lost her 14 year old lab, Jewell in June 2014 that she began volunteering with local animal shelters. In November 2015, Heather began working for the local SPCA where she discovered her passion for the welfare of animals and began to seek a position in veterinary medicine.

She joined the Linden Heights team in July 2020. She enjoys kayaking, fishing and hiking and is looking forward to introducing these activities to her chocolate lab, Kimber!

Cassy B. graduated from Palo Alto Community College in San Antonio, Texas where she received her degree in animal science in 2015. She recently moved to the area from North Carolina. She loves hiking, reading and going on adventures with her blue heeler, Mauser.

Jessica joined Linden Heights Animal Hospital in September 2015. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking, camping and hiking, among other outdoor activities. She also enjoys spending time with friends, family and her dogs, Maddie and Roxie.

Pam has been involved in veterinary practice management for over twenty years. She began her career in the veterinary industry as a technician at the age of 16. She also was a receptionist before being promoted to a practice manager. Pam became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager in 2014 and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from West Chester University.

FAQs

Do I need to have an appointment?

A: Yes, patients are seen by appointment. Should you have an emergency during regular office hours, please call so that we may assist you as quickly as possible.

What is the pre-anesthetic blood screening?

A: This is a blood test that is run here in the hospital prior to surgery. It tests the organ functions, blood counts and clotting function of your pet.
